Such a lovely accommodation, it felt very luxurious for an affordable budget. Friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast in the morning.
Norbert, Sunil, Rajendra & Khushboo were so helpful and accommodating if I needed anything.
Sometimes WiFi can be slow or cut out but that’s understandable for the area. And the common pool area tends to play trance/drum and bass music from 11:30am onwards so it isn’t as a quiet and relaxing vibe if that’s what you’re going for, but perfect for people here for the Goan trance / party scene.
Avoid this property if you value comfort and good service.
Our group booked Moustache Luxuria, Goa expecting a pleasant stay, but frequent power cuts, poor AC in the dorms, overpriced food, and unresponsive staff made the experience disappointing.
The biggest issue was the unreliable electricity during peak summer. Power outages were common, and the backup system was inadequate, leaving guests uncomfortable in the heat. The dormitory AC barely worked, making it difficult to sleep, and repeated complaints over two days led to no meaningful resolution.
The food was expensive for the quality offered, and the staff showed little urgency in addressing guest concerns. Instead of enjoying our vacation, we spent too much time following up on basic issues.
While the property looks attractive in photos, the reality did not match expectations. Poor maintenance, unreliable power, ineffective air conditioning, and weak customer service made this one of our least enjoyable stays.
I would not recommend this property, especially the dorms. There are better options in Goa that offer far better value and comfort.
Moustache luxuria is a quaint place situated near anjuna. We booked a presidential suite which had a private pool inside the room. Overall the room was luxurious and comfortable but the cleanliness of the furniture, mattresses and drapes could have been better considering the price of the room. The private pool inside the room was nice and relaxing but the water could be cleaner. We had a bathtub inside the bathroom which was amazing and perfect for couple stay. Breakfast options were limited but were tasty. The common pool is big and spacious.
Staff is friendly and provides lots of suggestions and help to accommodate your stay. Overall if you’re planning for a couple stay to celebrate any special occasion you can stay here and have a wonderful time. All the places are nearby so you can rent a scooter or a car and have a good trip!
Worst stay experience in Goa. Not recommended.
We were a group of 8–9 people staying at Moustache Luxuria, and our experience was extremely disappointing.
Major Issues:
❌ Frequent Power Cuts & No Proper Backup
* Electricity kept going off multiple times throughout the day.
* During peak summer, the property had no reliable power backup.
* We spent several hours without electricity, making the stay unbearable.
❌ Non-Functional ACs & Poor Ventilation
* The dormitory ACs were not working properly.
* Rooms were extremely hot, stuffy, and suffocating.
* Despite repeatedly complaining for more than 2 days, no effective action was taken.
* The situation became so bad that some of us had to sleep in our cars.
❌ Poor Response to Complaints
* Multiple complaints were raised by our group.
* There was no sense of urgency to resolve the issues.
* Guests were left struggling with basic necessities like cooling and ventilation.
❌ Overpriced & Poor-Quality Food
* Food prices are heavily inflated.
* The quality and taste do not justify the pricing at all.
❌ Unpleasant Staff Behaviour
* Staff was neither welcoming nor helpful.
* The advertised “free high tea” felt more like an obligation than hospitality.
Final Verdict
A property can have occasional issues, but what matters is how they are handled. Here, the major problems—power outages, non-working ACs, and guest complaints—were left unresolved throughout our stay.
No reliable electricity, no working ACs, poor ventilation, overpriced food, and poor customer service. This was easily one of the worst accommodation experiences we’ve had, and we would strongly advise others to reconsider before booking.
I stayed in the female Dom and also in their proper luxury room. And they were all good. I had the best time in this resort. The community manager Prateek was a great help. And all the staff was very sweet. And were guiding us about the hotel and the localities and where we could find better places to enjoy everything, they were all very helpful and sweet. This place is a gem. I will make sure I visit here every time I'm in Goa. As a solo traveller, it's the very best place to be at.It's safe for a girl to be there.As well as the prices of the doms, female dometry specifically are great.And it's very clean, they have a pretty big washroom for females to use.And to change its awesome
