The rooms and common areas were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for travellers to relax and socialize. The staff was extremely helpful, polite, and always ready to assist with guidance about local places and travel plans. The overall vibe was lively, safe, and perfect for meeting new people from different places. The location was also convenient, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. A perfect stay for travellers looking for comfort, fun, and memorable experiences. Highly recommended for solo travellers as well as groups! 🌍✨
I stayed at Moustache Coimbatore, located in Tatabad, a well-connected part of the city with good access to public transport, eateries, and popular local spots. The location is one of the few positives — it's central and makes getting around Coimbatore quite convenient. However, the stay itself left a lot to be desired. I booked a 6-bed mixed dorm, and while the hostel offers multiple room types, the dorm was very cramped, and the ceiling fans were installed dangerously low, especially near the upper bunks — it's easy to bump your head if you're not careful. Some beds didn't have charging ports, which was frustrating. The common area has a large TV, and there’s a rooftop terrace where guests can sit and eat. While alcohol and smoking are officially not allowed, I noticed a few guests drinking at midnight in the lobby/terrace area, which raised safety concerns. So despite the stated rules, enforcement seemed very poor. Bathroom facilities were very basic — there was no hot water, no toiletries like soap or body wash, and no buckets. There are about four toilets shared across all dorms, and that quickly becomes inconvenient during busy hours. Also, there are no plates or basic utensils for eating in the common areas. My experience with the management and crowd handling was disappointing. When I returned from dinner one evening, I found that some guests had occupied my bed and surrounding beds, despite not having booked them. One of my dorm neighbors had already informed the staff and vacated out of frustration, as the intruding guests were rude and aggressive. The staff didn’t take prompt or effective action, which made the environment feel unwelcoming and poorly managed. All this said, the price was around ₹600 per night, which might seem budget-friendly. But for that price, I’ve stayed in hostels with better cleanliness, friendlier staff, and a more secure environment.
My stay experience at this property for several times while visiting cbe was always peaceful and happy. Ameneties, Cleanliness, Safety, Toilet, Bed and sleep ambience is much better. Price = WORTH! Mr.Senthil was very friendly and helpful
I had an extremely bad experience at Moustache Coimbatore, which I booked through Agoda. The reality was shocking compared to the online photos. On the website, it looks like a beautiful room with all facilities, but in reality, what was provided to us was literally a bunker. There wasn't even car parking available. We arrived with my family and provided proper ID, but the property failed to provide even basic amenities. When we complained, the managerial staff and owner were adamant, non-cooperative, and displayed a terrible attitude. They refused to help and told us to cancel the booking, forcing us to leave. My booking amount has not been refunded yet, despite the fact that we did not stay there. Our entire travel plan was disrupted, causing my family immense difficulty. I want my money back immediately, or I will take legal action against this property and the booking platform. Do not book here. They do not provide a customer care number and the service is non-existent.
I’ve stayed at several Moustache hostels before, but this one was quite underwhelming. First off, very limited parking space—only for bikes, and no car parking. The hostel itself is tiny compared to other Moustache properties, and unfortunately, there’s zero hostel vibe here. The rooms (dorms) are extremely small, and the fans are placed dangerously low—especially in the upper bunks. It’s easy to accidentally hurt yourself if you’re not careful. The facilities are pretty basic—no towels, no toiletries like soap or body wash, and in some dorm beds, no charging ports either. There’s a rooftop space where you can sit and eat, but alcohol and smoking are not allowed. There are about four toilets for everyone, and from what I noticed, there’s one female dorm and two mixed dorms. The only positive was the polite and helpful front desk staff—they were genuinely nice. I paid around ₹600, so it’s budget-friendly, but still not worth it for me. I’ve stayed in better hostels with a real vibe and better amenities. If you’re looking for a proper hostel experience, I’d say this isn’t it.
