Mad packers has the best location. Near laxum jhula. Hospitality of staff is incredible. Very helpful. View is good from rooftop deck. Definitely don’t stay here if you want quiet. But if you want to meet other travelers and have a good time things your place.

The only value of this hostel is because of location near Laxman Jhula, Vibe around that area near Ganga is absolutely mesmerising. Loved it! But sadly, my experience could have been better as I have stayed at some fabulous hostels in the past. 1. No engagement activities for backpackers or travelers. No efforts, no initiatives, no breakfast, no F&B, they only focus on stay, that’s it. 2. Staff could be more helpful and courteous, if you ask them something like how much does it cost for cab, ride etc etc their response will be like please ask or call this person they will tell you. There was no ownership and passion. 3. Water shortage, electricity cut, lift under maintenance, no towels caused inconvenience. 4. Rooms were decent just like any other hostel. Hope they can work these points and make hostel more amazing experience wise, not just focusing on commercialised Rishikesh. Money is important but not everything!

Rooms are pretty cosy and bed was comfortable. But they kept having powercuts day and night and even before leaving we had no water in the bathroom. Service is fine the two ladies are polite and patient but the dude there managing stuff had no idea whats going on and was rude to us saying he doesnt know about our booking and all. Strange fella. Location is bad. Its squeezed in between a steep elevated lane which is all upwards climb and kinda annoying but doable. You won't be able to find it on road you have to stop and ask around. Its the same case for alot of stay joints there so its understable. Their roof top has good views. They had jenga so its a good time pass if travelling with friends.

I had a really great experience staying at Madpackers Rishikesh, and a big part of that was thanks to the guest manager, Kaushal. He is बेहद helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything you need. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and well-managed. Kaushal creates a very welcoming and positive vibe in the hostel. He makes sure guests feel comfortable, safe, and included. Whether it’s giving local recommendations, helping with plans, or just having a friendly conversation, he goes the extra mile. The property itself is not so clean, not well-maintained, but has a chill atmosphere perfect for travelers. Overall, highly recommended—especially because of Kaushal'excellent management and hospitality. Would definitely love to come back

Staying at Madpacker truly felt like a home away from home. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and filled with such positive vibes. What made the experience even more special were the amazing people — friendly staff, wonderful travelers, and an atmosphere that instantly makes you feel comfortable and connected. Definitely one of those places you never want to leave. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, good company, and unforgettable memories.
