Stayed at Madpackers Udaipur and absolutely loved the place. It was actually very difficult for me to find a good hostel in Udaipur, but this one truly stood out. The lake view right from the dorm is such a highlight, waking up to that view itself makes the stay special. The hostel is very clean and hygienic, which honestly mattered a lot to me. The community manager was extremely approachable and brought such amazing, positive energy. She introduced herself as Bokacho Traveler, and her vibe really added to the whole experience. Overall, the hostel has a great atmosphere and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-managed stay in Udaipur. 🌊✨
The room was small for the price they charge but enough for a young couple. The blankets were separate even in a private room. This is truly a Hostel. No room service or lifts (understandable for an old city). The cleanliness was good. Guests should be aware that this stay is only for 18-35 years old which is a new rule that I have seen as other hostels didn't have this rule. The lake view was amazing for the room we booked.
Me and my gf stayed here for a couple of nights. We first stayed in the dorm room which was nice and clean but the room is small. Our indian roommates didn't have any dorm etiquette and was so loud in the middle of the night. We moved in a private room the next night and still good, clean, and cozy and has a nice view of the lake. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially Sweety. She took us in a walking tour the first night we were there and we had so much fun together with our new friends. She's such a good hostel rep. This hostel was more fun than the other Madpackers we stayed at in India because of their fun activities. Really good location and awesome rooftop. They also serve good food with backpacker friendly prices.
Absolutely loved my stay! This hostel has some of the best people I’ve ever met while traveling — everyone is friendly, open, and instantly makes you feel like part of a little family. The atmosphere is fun, relaxed, and full of good energy. The host is truly the best — kind, helpful, and always going out of their way to make sure everyone feels welcome and has everything they need. Whether you’re joining a group or just relaxing after a long day, it feels like home in the best way possible. I came for a few days and ended up staying longer!! Couldn’t recommend it more! ❤️
Beautiful view, good vibes. The roof top cafe is also nice. Two problems that I faced… the road to the hotel is very narrow and their check in time is very odd… it’s around noon… the narrow road is packed with traffic during the peak hours… so much that its very hard to move even without any vehicle…
