Excellent experience Stayed at Madpackers and honestly, it was a pretty solid experience overall. The vibe is social but not chaotic — you can chill, work, or meet new people depending on your mood. The common areas are well designed and actually encourage interaction, which makes it great for solo travellers.

Great room with a site line of the river. Average/above average bathroom for a hostel. Perfect location right at the bridge. Amazing vibes and they have a smoke room perfect for late night chill sessions.

I stayed at Madpackers for 4 nights, and even though I'm a little shy when it comes to talking to new people, this place made me feel completely at home. The environment here is truly special—calm, warm, and filled with like-minded travelers. I ended up meeting some amazing people and made memories I’ll genuinely carry with me. The best part of Madpackers is undoubtedly the staff. They are incredibly friendly, kind, and always ready to help. They make sure no guest ever feels alone or awkward, and they create a space where everyone feels welcome and included. Their hospitality is something you rarely find. A few practical things to note: A. It’s a dorm, so naturally you'll be sharing the space with others. Please be mindful while using the washroom, and respectful while talking or moving around. Just a bit of adjusting from everyone makes the experience better for all. B. If you're in Rishikesh to find peace, meet new people, listen to amazing travel stories, or share your own with people who actually listen, this is the perfect place. This is not a “party hostel”—it’s a fun, peaceful, traveler-friendly space where you can socialize when you want and enjoy your own time when you need it. And most importantly, please be respectful towards the staff, because they genuinely go out of their way to respect and take care of you. I absolutely loved my stay here, and I’m definitely coming back soon. Highly recommended. 💛✨ PS- the terrace view is Wow. ❤️

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was super friendly and always ready to help. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the location was perfect — close to cafes, shops, and public transport. It felt safe, cozy, and welcoming throughout my stay. The staff was very accommodating but the facilities were bad. Washroom flush wasn't working properly, fan in our bunk bed wasn't working, washroom exhaust wasn't working, In the photos it looked like a big room but in reality it was just one small room with 6 bunks. Honestly a bad experience.
