If you're in Bir and looking for a place to chill, meet new people, and have a good time, Madpackers is worth checking out. ✨ The host Jhanvi is amazing, she knows exactly how to bring people together and keeps the vibe lively. You'll hear countless stories from her and probably leave with a few stories of your own. The terrace evenings are especially fun, with great conversations, laughter, and just good energy all around. The dorms are clean, comfortable, and affordable, and the location is a bonus, it's just a short walk from the monastery. Good people, good vibes, and good memories.✌️
Had an amazing stay at Madpackers Hostel! The rooms were super clean, and the facilities were great. Special mention for Aman bhaiya at the reception he's super polite, friendly, and a really awesome person. The location is perfect, very close to Chokling Monastery, about 500 meters or so, and easy to access everything. Everything was just brilliant! Would definitely recommend….
Loved staying at Madpackers, I was at the female dorm & everything was very well maintained, comfortable and safe. Ended up making friends with so many travellers and loved the hosts there. Jhanvi (the volunteer) was so welcoming and helpful. I remember talking to her when she dropped me to my dorm & she was already so open about helping out with travel plans and everything. Such a sweet soul, definitely added good vibes to my trip.✨ Amazing experience overall. 🫶🌻
I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service and room conditions provided, especially considering the high amount paid (₹7,500 per night). The issues faced are as follows: 1. Unclean Room Condition The walls of the room were visibly dirty and poorly maintained. This is unacceptable for a room in this price range and does not match the standards advertised. 2. No Towels at Check-in There were no towels provided in the room at check-in. When we requested towels, we were informed that none were available until the evening. This left us unable to freshen up after travel, which is a basic hospitality expectation. 3. No Toiletries or Basic Amenities The room had no toiletries, and there was no water bottle or any basic essentials provided. Again, this is extremely disappointing for a premium family suite. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations and did not justify the amount charged. I chose Madpackers expecting a comfortable and hassle-free stay, but instead faced inconvenience and poor service.
Location wise it is in a very good locality, close to major cafes etc. Staff is polite. But the Property in very poor conditions. We took a private room. Paint was coming off from everywhere, old worn out towels, washroom had a foul smell. Insects came out at night. Only good thing about the property is I guess the garden that too i feel is maintained by someone else. Wont recommend until you want a cheap stay just to crash.
