Great hostel and even better people. We joined their walking tour and it turned out to be one of our best experiences in India. The staff helped us with everything, gave us great tips, and were always kind, open, and easy to talk to. Thanks to them, we got to see the real India, not just tourist spots but also local life and everyday atmosphere. We felt welcome from the very first moment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic experience and a friendly vibe.
Delhi is such a chaotic city, so finding a place to kick back, make friends, and just hang out in a peaceful atmosphere is a total lifesaver. That was Joey’s Hostel for me. I met some wonderful people there—we painted a mural, laughed, ate together, and even had a Bollywood dance class on the rooftop.
The owner is incredibly kind and truly wants to make the hostel the best it can be; you can see the effort he puts in. The place isn’t perfect, but they give you their absolute best. I stayed for almost a week, and they were always checking in on me to see how I was doing or if I needed anything. I loved Joey’s Hostel. I had a blast and I’m taking some amazing memories home with me

I stayed in this hostel for 5 nights and I could not have picked a better spot! The location is perfect- really close to the metro station. The metro is super easy to get around Delhi. As a bonus the area is super authentic and never felt unsafe, important for me as a solo female traveller. The staff was great, always helpful. They arranged a transfer for me when I arrived in the middle of the night and made sure I got there safely. They also organize many activities like a walking tour or a barbecue. Don’t doubt: if you’re looking for a great social hostel in Delhi this is the one!
I stayed here for 2 nights and had such a lovely experience! The location is perfect- really close to the metro station, so getting around was super easy. The people were amazing - most of them were backpackers, which made the vibe lively and fun. As a female solo traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout my stay, not even a single moment of discomfort. The atmosphere was welcoming, and everyone was so friendly and easy to talk to. I’d definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a good, safe, and social place to stay. Awesome place to stay! In a vibrant neighbourhood which can be chaotic at times but which I loved. Best thing about Joeys isn't necessarily the property (although the dorm beds are quite good) but the vibe and staff! Everyone is intent on meeting new people, perfect for solo backpackers. Getting to know other people is facilitated by the rooftop terrace and daily tours. Special shout out to Abbey who not only manages these daily tours but is always at your disposal for any question about your stay or about India you might have (and is genuinely interested in hearing what you're up to). Things like this make me feel really at home while travelling, thanks :)
