Had a really nice stay at Joye’s by the Gunges Hostel in Rishikesh. The vibe is super relaxed and friendly, perfect for meeting other travelers. Staff is helpful and makes you feel comfortable right away. Location is great—close to the Ganga and main spots, but still peaceful. Rooftop and common areas are a big plus for hanging out and unwinding. Overall, a great place if you’re looking for a fun, social, and budget-friendly stay in Rishikesh. Would definitely recommend!
Honestly, one of the best places I’ve stayed at, made even better by the people. Shout-out to Vaasu and Diksha for making the stay so comfortable and welcoming. This was my second time staying here, and I know for a fact that every time I come back, I’ll be staying at Joey’s.

An amazing place by the Ganga ghat. Best for solo travellers and people who prefer hostels over hotels. Near and tidy place. Has a rooftop scenic view of the river Ganga. Overall a good place to stay for 2-3 days.
Honestly, possibly one of the best properties in the entirety of Rishikesh. The location is excellent, the view from the cafe is amazing and so is the vibe. Met tons of solo travellers here on the weekend, partied with them as well right on the rooftop with the weekend nights they organise.
The dorms are clean and tidy with curtains and wooden beds. Most of the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful, Vikram, Aman, Vishal just to name a few. The only complaint I have is that cafe takes forever to make your food.
Tip : Get the 10-Bed Ganga View Dorm for an absolutely amazing and quiet view of the ganga right from your dorm. Or, get the 14-Bed dorm to get that really large dorm with the signature moon ceiling which is present in the first picture. Rest of the dorms are pretty average in other ways. Also, in case it was not obvious, this is not at all a family-friendly place. But an absolute blast if you're solo or with friends. Also, they don't allow alcohol consumption on property in front of others ;)

That son a b*tch didn't let me check in knowing that I was far from home and had no where to sleep just because I'm 16 😡 age isn't just a number it's a way to discriminate. Parents are open minded but fkers of India aren't . Didn't even refund 😡 I had to sleep on the ghats . Anyways the place was sketchy and corny , no entry after 1 and stuff 😡
