Worst property - I booked room for two days. When I visit there they will make you fill a long form, take payment first then will give you the rooms. Later on, checking the washroom taps were not working, the AC was leaking and and bed was soaked in water due to the AC leakage, one cannot sleep on the bed. Also, you won't find anyone available on the reception and call for any assistance. Staff is not cooperating. Food was also not good based kon there prices. In the end I can say that they are pathetic people.
(It's worth noting that my partner and I didn't actually sleep here, we just wanted a base to be able to freshen up before our flight, so can't comment on the beds themselves). The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - we experienced a high standard of attentiveness and customer service. While we waited for our room to become available, we enjoyed the cafe attached to the hostel - the food was good, coffee not great, decor adorable, prices a little high for India generally. Guests of the hostel are given 20% off food and free chai between 5 and 7pm. Many books and a few board games provided. Air con in the cafe and fans everywhere else. Central location with a few quality restaurants around. The dorm bathroom was pretty grim, but the main ladies bathroom had a western toilet, provided toilet paper and was considerably cleaner. Overall, I'd stay at this hostel again (and next time, perhaps even sleep there!)
# Accommodation(4/5) We stayed in the 4-bed dorm for 2 days. The dorm rooms are a bit smaller, shabby, and look old. However, given the price, they were in pretty good condition. During our stay, there were only 2 people in the dorm, so it didn't feel crowded. However, I imagine a completely packed dorm would feel cramped. # Staff Service: (5/5) The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Despite checking out on the 3rd day, they allowed us to continue using the lockers and lounge until our departure, which was a thoughtful gesture. They even offered us to switch rooms given the hot weather of Jaipur and unavailability of A/C in one of the dorms. # Cleanliness: (5/5)Cleanliness was up to the mark. The dorm and common areas were well-maintained and cleaned on request as well. #Food Quality. : (4.5/5 The on-site café offers exceptional food quality with diverse options including English, American, and Mexican cuisine. However, prices are on the higher side.
I was stationed at Jaipur for 8 nights and the most regret I had in terms of catching a good place with good people and vibes. That is what that place lacks, apart from that the A/C and water, accomodation are all good. If you are willing to spend 200 you can breakfast/dinner per day for each. There is availability of drinking water. Other than that it also houses a cafe called Step Out, I had some items from their during my time and not impressed with the price and the quality.
We had an amazing stay here! The beds are comfy the area is clean and the location is Nice with either a short tuktuk Ride or a medium long walk to pink city! The staff is so helpful and absolutely amazing, we were trying to book a train to Agra and a member off staff spent literally 1,5 hour trying to help us book it! We tried everything and he let us use his account on several bus / train sites! I don’t know many hostels that would do this and it absolutely goes a long way knowing that there is a reliable and helpful staff! Would definitely stay here again! THANK YOU
