Hide In India Rishikesh

If you're looking for a place that blends chill vibes with warm hospitality, Hide-In Hostel in Rishikesh is a gem! I stayed here recently and absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere, clean dorms, and the stunning rooftop view overlooking the Ganges and mountains. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help—whether it's arranging local tours, suggesting cafés, or just having a good conversation. The common area has a great energy, making it easy to meet fellow travelers, musicians, and creatives from around the world. Also, the location is perfect—tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, but still within walking distance of Laxman Jhula and all the main attractions. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Rishikesh and want an affordable yet soulful stay. Will definitely come back!

"I had a wonderful experience at Hide In Hostel! The environment of the hostel is very friendly and relaxed. The best part was that the manager Rajat is extremely helpful and professional. He helped with every small thing and also gave great guidance for exploring local places. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the view and vibe from the rooftop cafe were amazing. The location is also perfect—quiet and everything is close by. Highly recommended for solo travelers!"

Not ideal for families – disappointing experience We made a spontaneous trip to Rishikesh and booked this property for Rs. 9,500 per night for two rooms. Unfortunately, the experience did not justify the cost. Basic amenities were missing — the air conditioning wasn’t working, there was no landline service, and even essential items like toothpaste were not provided. We had specifically booked a "mountain view" room, which was more expensive than the regular rooms. However, a building directly in front completely blocked the view. There was no actual mountain view, so it’s unclear why the room cost more. Despite this, the staff insisted it was still a mountain view, which felt quite misleading. When we raised our concerns, we were told, "This is not a hotel, it’s a hostel." However, the listing on Google clearly shows it as a hotel, and there is no mention that it's unsuitable for families. To add to the discomfort, there was loud music and noise around 11:00 PM, and even after reporting it, no action was taken. Overall, I would not recommend this place for families. It might be more suitable for solo travelers or groups of friends who don’t mind a hostel-like atmosphere.

Wonderful stay! The staff was very cooperative and helping. The rooms are very much comforting. Helped us with other requirements as well like scooty and rafting. The hotel is near the market which is actually the ideal location. Games area gives vibrant and peppy vibe. Strong recommendation!

It was a really good experience. Rajat and Vansh were amazing hosts. Very corporative. Over all It was an amazing experience. Rooms were very clean and we also stayed in dormitory for one night those beds were so comfortable.
