Loved my stay at Haust Varkala! The hostel has a really nice green space, the beds and blankets are perfect, and the bathrooms are super clean and well-maintained. What made the stay even better was the hospitality. The manager, Gowtham, made extra efforts to make us feel right at home, and kudos to the volunteer, Ashmi, for doing a wonderful job! I’d highly recommend everyone to experience Haust at least once during their Varkala trip. Cheers!
I had an amazing stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Varkala. The rooms are cozy, clean, and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. The location is perfect. it's close to Janardhan Swamy Temple, Varkala Beach, and many of the famous cafés, so everything is easily accessible. They also provide bike rentals, which made exploring Varkala very convenient. The kitchen facilities are a great bonus if you prefer to cook your own meals. What truly made this place special, though, was the warm atmosphere. I met some wonderful people during my stay, and the managers were always friendly, responsive, and quick to help with any queries. Overall, this is one of the best places to stay in Varkala. I would definitely love to come back!
The Best thing about the hostel is the host, he treats you like his own family. He arranges anything you want, knows all the information about the locality. The hostel was quiet and gave a homestay feeling, you have a kitchen, washing machine, fridge and all the necessary facilities for a long-term stay. Just a feedback the washroom could be a little bit clean.
Hauste is undoubtedly one of the best places to stay in Varkala, with an ideal location that makes exploring the town incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. What truly sets Hauste apart is its amazing people—special thanks to Gautam and Prem, along with the cleaning staff and the owner, all of whom were exceptionally warm, friendly, and always willing to help. The hostel has a unique vibe, full of charm and character, making it much more than just a place to stay. Clean, aesthetically pleasing, and welcoming, Hauste adds a special touch to the entire Varkala experience. I’ll definitely be visiting Varkala again, and Hauste will always be my first choice. 🩷🩵
My first hostel experience was made truly special by HAUST, Varkala. The stay was incredibly comfortable, and the beds were so cozy that I honestly didn’t want to leave them. The hostel also has an accessible kitchen, which made everything very convenient. What made HAUST stand out was the amazing atmosphere. We met wonderful people, shared great conversations, and had some unforgettable vibey nights. A special mention to Gowtham, the property manager, whose hospitality made all the difference. He was always friendly, helpful, and by the end of our stay had become a true friend to us. HAUST gave me memories I’ll always cherish, and I can’t wait to be back.
