Our travelers have stories to tell and memories to share. From unforgettable stays to warm hospitality, hear how we’ve made their journeys specials.

I stayed at Hammock for a couple of days at the end of February in the female dorm, and I had a really great experience. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist with anything. The bathrooms were very clean, which is something I really appreciate. The hostel offers plenty of amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen, and the overall design is bright, modern, and stylish. The location is excellent — right in the heart of Bandra, with everything nearby. The vibe is young, social, and friendly, with lots of international travelers, which makes it easy to meet new people

I was in Mumbai on a short business trip and discovered this hidden gem in Bandra. The location is perfect—surrounded by great local food spots as well as specialty restaurants, making it ideal to explore the area. The staff, amenities, and overall service truly stood out and convinced me to extend my stay. Their hospitality made me feel completely at home. The beds are very comfortable, and the public areas are clean and well maintained. This place genuinely feels like a second home in Mumbai. Kudos to the team and people living here for creating such amazing vibes.

I stayed 5 nights. Great team here running the place. The owner is around all the time and you can see, she cares about her hostel and the backpackers that stay at her place. Met some amazing people, great little restaurant around the corner. 10 mins from the crazy expensive bars, 5 mins from fishermen drying there morning catch on the beach. Very quite neighbourhood. Will be my base in Mumbai from now on. Thanks guys.

I had stayed in this hostel for 3 days. It was a great experience. One thing that set it apart from other hostels is the space. The area is very spacious, they have common rooms in ground floor as well as on upper floor. Rooms are clean and washrooms are well maintained. Travellers come here from India and abroad, and are friendly. The staffs are very supportive. Especial thanks to Mahendra ji for taking care of everything in such a new way. He makes you feel at home. Wonderful guy. Had a wonderful stay, and would stay again if in Mumbai.

I had a private room which was pretty decent. Although it was very warm at night, even with the A/C on. I think with a thinner blanket though it might be okay. The bathroom could have a been a bit cleaner — not like North America clean but just at least clean the hair from the shower drain for each new guest. I was happy to see toilet paper in the bathroom 😂 and 2 fresh towels — and even a hand towel. They also provide free wifi which doesn’t seem that common here in Jaipur. The hostel seems to have friendly vibes and the upstairs terrace is nice. Especially if you were looking to connect with other travellers (which we were not 😉). They had a DJ playing but out of respect the music stopped by 11 pm and then the place was quite quiet. I would definitely recommend this place as it’s in a pretty good location and the price wasn’t too bad. Also the staff are very friendly — and the vibe of the whole place has a friendly welcoming vibe. They also happen to have one of the best rooftops in Jaipur — we even had a fireworks show from the palace across the street 🎇
