It’s not just about the scenery; the place has a soul. You feel it the moment you arrive. Everything about Firgun feels thoughtfully done—simple, aesthetic, and deeply connected to nature. It’s the kind of place where you slow down without trying. No forced luxury, no noise, no chaos—just peace. I’ve been to many hill stays, but the vibe here is something I honestly haven’t experienced elsewhere. Places like this are rare, and people who create and maintain them deserve appreciation. If you’re looking for views, calm, and an experience that feels authentic rather than commercial—this is it. Highly recommended.

I recently visited Firgun Shoja for a solo trip , and from the moment I stepped in, Firgun felt like a home . It’s the place for spontaneous friendships, the kind that often start with a simple “Where are you from?” and end with plans to meet again somewhere else in the world. The staff members are always making sure that you’re comfortable and having a good time. They don’t treat you like a stranger but like a member of their family. The hostel has the most breathtaking view, the bar serves the best cocktails and the food is so comforting. Firgun is like a feeling of belonging even when you’re far from home , and a story that’s still being written, page by page, conversation by conversation. I came here with no plans but left with so many new friends , ideas , insane music recommendations , stories and a promise to come back sooner . If you ever visit Firgun ( make sure you do ) do meet Sahil , Shyamoli and Chhavi , they are literally the best host ever . They have such happy and positive vibes , they are always there for anything you need and making sure you feel at home.

I recently stayed at Firgun and had a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful and very well maintained. Special thanks to Chhavi and Sahil for their warm hospitality — they truly made the stay even better. The internet connection was excellent; I was able to complete all my office work smoothly without any interruptions. Firgun is a calm, cosy place to stay in Shoja with great mountain views and a relaxed vibe. The rooms are simple and comfortable, and the common areas make it easy to meet people or just unwind. The crew here is amazing, especially Shyamoli, Irshad and Faizan. They’re warm, helpful and make the stay feel personal. I celebrated my birthday here and ended up meeting so many new people. It felt special in a way I didn’t expect, and I’m taking all of that with me.

I stayed at Firgun for approximately 3 weeks over 2 trips in 2 months back to back. The first one was a solo trip. I went without any expectations and was greeted with smiles and a place full of people enjoying themselves. I instantly loved it. They have the most beautiful bar and really delicious food to ease the hours of traveling you do to get here. I met with people from all walks of life, different professions, different ages, different experiences. Strangers turned into friends and some really close friends. The staff of firgun are the best. You won't feel like an outsider for a second, you would feel a part. I had the privilege to know and spend time with each one of them, each full of life and experiences that I didn't know before. Suffice it to say, after spending a 10 day solo trip at Firgun,Shoja, I was back again in a couple of weeks. Only this time I came back with friends I made during my first trip to meet our friends at Firgun,Shoja and to experience the light and peace of Shoja again. I'll be back soon.
