Firefly Hostel is a great place to stay—clean, comfortable, and has a chill vibe. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for meeting other travelers. There’s a nice café inside the hostel (but no free food), so you can grab something to eat or drink anytime. The location is also convenient, close to local spots and easy to get around. Overall, a good experience and worth recommending!
A Hidden Gem in the Mountains What truly sets this place apart, though, is the warmth of the people. The staff and fellow travelers were incredibly friendly, making it feel more like a home than just a place to sleep. Whether you’re chatting by the fire, sharing stories over dinner, or hiking together, there’s a real sense of community here. And the food—absolutely amazing! Every meal was fresh, hearty, and full of local flavor. After a day of trekking or exploring, nothing beats coming back to a delicious homemade dinner.
I had an amazing time at this hostel! The vibe was super chill and friendly, which made it really easy to meet other travelers. I ended up exploring the area with some of them, and they showed me some beautiful local spots I wouldn’t have found on my own. The owner was awesome—really kind, helpful, and always around if you needed anything. The place was clean, comfy, and had a great atmosphere for hanging out and making friends. It honestly felt like a home away from home. I left with great memories and would totally stay here again!
I’ve stayed at Firefly on my last three visits, and somehow, the experience just keeps getting better each time. From the delicious food and the warm, like-minded community to the unbeatable vibe, Firefly offers something truly rare. Manali may be packed with hostels and hotels, but finding a place that genuinely feels like home? That’s the real challenge, thanks to Firefly, it’s no longer one. Keep doing what you do, you’re absolutely killing it.
I received a warm welcome in this fantastic hostel in old Manali. Quiet semi rural setting just steps away from town, zero street noise and great views. Facilities clean and spot on, cheerful vibe. Was treated like a friend. 100% great place.
