I had an amazing stay at Course of Life, Alleppey! The hostel has a great vibe, clean and comfortable spaces, and is perfectly located near all the major houseboat points, making it super convenient to explore the backwaters. A special shoutout to Rahul, the host — he truly makes the experience exceptional. He organizes different events and tours, helps guests connect, and is always ready with recommendations for the best places to visit and amazing food spots nearby. His support and local insights really elevate the stay and make you feel at home. Highly recommend this hostel for solo travelers and groups looking for a fun, social, and well-guided Alleppey experience. Will definitely stay here again! 🌊✨

Course of Life is one of those hostels where you instantly feel like, “Yeah, I picked the right place.” Rahul is not just a host — he’s a proper vibe curator 😄 He’s been doing this for years and knows exactly how to keep the energy right. He somehow attracts the right kind of people — solo travellers, chilled backpackers, even families — and that makes a huge difference. I really enjoyed my stay here. Rahul made sure there was always something happening — kayaking, boating, Alappuzha explorations, or just hanging out and talking life with fellow travellers. You’re never bored unless you want to be. The place is clean, comfortable, and for the price, you honestly get more than what you pay for. No drama, no fake “party hostel” noise — just good people, good conversations, and a relaxed backwater vibe. If you’re a solo traveller looking for connection, stories, and a hostel that feels alive — this one’s a win. Would 100% stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Course of Life Homestay in Alleppey. The room was very clean, comfortable, and perfect for a family stay as I was travelling with my wife and kid. The highlight of our experience was the host, Rahul. He was extremely helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. He guided us about local Kerala food that we must try and gave great suggestions, which really enhanced our experience. He also arranged an auto for us, making local travel very convenient and hassle-free. Overall, it felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay with a caring host in Alleppey.

Budget-friendly rooms with great location. They organise water sport activities like kayaking and also other activities like day canoe trips to local village. The vibe is really relaxed and international. Perfect for backpacking and solo trip. Rahul is a great host and his team, especially Mathew go above and beyond to help you out.

I stayed at Course of Life for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The place is very economical, peaceful, and located close to the serene backwaters — perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature. The owner, Rahul, is a genuinely warm and kind person. We spent a lot of time just talking, and he really made me feel at home. He also went out of his way to help me during my stay — from suggesting amazing local food spots (every place he recommended was brilliant!) to helping me with my bike rental. He even dropped me a few kilometers away to pick up the bike and later arranged someone to pick me up when I returned it, which was incredibly thoughtful. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’d love to visit again. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
