A friend recommended Bibhitaki to me, and I’m so glad they did. I originally only booked for a short trip, but I ended up extending my stay for a full week—I just couldn’t bring myself to leave! The vibe is exactly what you want in South Goa: super chill and laid back. It’s perfectly located just a quick walk from the beach, so you’re close to everything but still tucked away enough to get a good night's sleep. A massive shoutout to Loy—he’s genuinely the best guy and really takes care of everyone there. He makes the whole place feel like home. We spent so many fun evenings playing board games until late, just hanging out and meeting new people. It’s the perfect spot if you want a social atmosphere that’s actually relaxed rather than forced. If you’re heading to Palolem, don’t overthink it—just stay here.
Couldn’t recommend enough: I was travelling solo as a female and felt very safe here. It felt clean and comfortable and pretty quiet after dark. The food was also tasty. A big shout out to the staff but mainly Loy- he made it his mission to make me feel safe and comfortable in the hostel- even dropped me off at local beaches , showed me local cuisine and made sure I got on my train ok late at night. I can’t thank him enough for making my first days in India feel safe and comfortable.
Words cannot encompass how great of a time it was a time staying at Bibhitaki, and definitely a massive part of that was Loy! As a solo female traveller, safety is of utmost importance and the hostel offers that with their female dorms, super respectful and fun loving staff. Loy was a great tour guide as well, showing you hidden wonders of Goa not accessible my google search. Overall one of the best experiences I've had at a hostel and would recommend it to any first-time solo traveller!! Can't wait to visit again :)
Great budget-friendly hostel with clean rooms and well-maintained spaces. I stayed here for two days, and it was a comfortable experience. The staff, especially Kamlesh, were very polite and helpful, which made the stay even better. Since it was the off-season, the place was peaceful and not crowded. Overall, a pleasant stay !
I had a comfortable stay at Bibhitaki. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Palolem Beach. The rooms were clean, and the vibe of the hotel is very chill. There are many good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. However, if you’re someone who wants a TV in the room, you might be disappointed. The caretaker, Sandeep, is always available at the property and is very courteous. I really enjoyed my stay at Bibhitaki.
