Altr Nativ Morjim

The owners here have done an exceptional job for making a home away from home, right here in Goa. It never truly felt like a hotel, because everything was so carefully curated to make it feel like you were chilling out at home and with new friends, but being looked after at the same time. We were travelling as a couple, but during our stay chatted with a lot of the other guests staying there too and it all felt so easy. It's clearly a place that brings like-minded travellers together. They have a restaurant on site which prepares such tasty food for a reasonable price. The staff are super attentive and were so helpful whilst we were unwell with food poisoning (from eating elsewhere!). The atmosphere is serene and comfortable. The ambience is zen. It is a bit further out from the beach/other central location, so having a scooty is helpful - the owners can put you in touch with a helpful scooty rental/taxi driver if need be. There is a gym, pharmacy, local shop and a restaurant (Rice Mill) within walking distance if you need access to other facilities. There is a small area on site to be able to do some light workouts with resistance bands and yoga if you need. Would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a place to unwind and really chill out and relax in Morjim.

Our stay at ALTR NATIV was overall positive. The rooms are very modern, clean and the facilities function as they should. The pool is nice and the cafe serves great food and coffee. The staff are very approachable and willing to help with whatever you need. The location is good with nice cafes and local food nearby. My only issue with our stay was the online check in portal that is used. It’s a nice idea but honestly takes too long to fill out and is a little frustrating. The same system is used to order at the cafe. I spent five minutes filling out a form just to order a coffee. That being said the service was good and the chefs are really nice.

Far more than a hostel, the coziest hostel you'll find here in Morjim. I arrived alone and planned to stay for a day, but I fell in love with the place and ended up staying much longer. The place is beautifully decorated, gives a luxurious feel, with a pool and a bar that also serves great food. There's also a terrace with exercise equipment - yoga mats, weights, straps... and I personally got to practice alone there several times and it was a pleasant and special experience. The staff is kind and caring, I really felt like they were taking care of me on a personal level! The shared rooms are clean and cozy, and in general - it just feels like they've thought of everything here :) There's also an option to rent scooters from the place. In short, highly recommend! I traveled around both North and South Goa for over a week, and this was the best accommodation by far! I would even list it as one of my favorite hotels to date in general. It is an intimate, boho-styled setting with gorgeous rooms and attentive staff. The rooms were very clean and equipped with everything and more (the outdoor bathroom/shower was my favorite feature). The food on-site was delicious and made easy to order through the guest portal. The location is also spectacular and close to a beautiful beach. The owner, Jay, was also so welcoming and accommodating. You can tell he has poured his heart and soul into this beautiful hotel. He was definitely made for hosting and hospitality. He gave us delicious food and bar recommendations and help sort all taxis. I would highly recommend this for your stay in North Goa - you will not be disappointed!

We travelled as a couple to Goa to celebrate my birthday, and our first stay was at Altr Nativ, Morjim. Overall, the experience was truly peaceful and relaxing — exactly what we wanted to start our trip with. The property has a very calm, natural and earthy vibe.No noise, no disturbance — just pure peace.It’s the kind of place where you instantly slow down and feel relaxed. We had opted for the open washroom room, and the concept is very refreshing and unique. The room was clean, comfortable and aesthetically done. The only area that needs attention is the washroom upkeep: • Due to the open setup, there were a few insects • The shower area tends to get a bit dirty at times If they maintain this part a little better, the stay would be absolutely perfect. The staff is polite, cooperative and always ready to help.They maintain a chilled Goa vibe — not too formal, but truly warm. For couples looking for a peaceful, nature-inspired stay in Morjim, Altr Nativ is a beautiful option. We had a wonderful start to our Goa trip here, and despite minor washroom maintenance issues, everything else was lovely. Would definitely recommend for a calm, couple-friendly holiday experience.
