Altr Nativ Morjim

Altr Native was such a wholesome and fulfilling experience. Everything from the stay, the tranquil location, and the vibe of the place felt just right. There’s a calming energy here, and the staff, community, and even the adorable resident cat Goya (who’s basically the official guest greeter!) made it all the more special. If you’re looking to experience the peaceful, nature-kissed side of Goa, I’d absolutely recommend it. The place has a thoughtful, well-maintained culture that makes you feel at home. I especially appreciate how they ensure hostel etiquette is followed — it really helps everyone enjoy their own space while still being part of a larger community. The dorms are actually enjoyable to stay in — well-designed, cozy, and bright with clean bathrooms and mirrors (which is honestly a blessing). That said, there’s room for tiny improvements — like the springy beds in the dorms that might not be ideal for everyone, and maybe a shaded area by the pool since the recliners don’t offer cover. But overall, you can tell the space has been crafted with a lot of love and attention to detail. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back here again

WE JUST DIDN’T WANT TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY AT ALL. I think I can’t recommend ALTR NATIV enough. The entire experience was dreamy and unbelievable. They have a great cafe with good food, lovely drinks. The room was spacious, clean, well maintained, aesthetic. Truly felt like we had stepped into a different, unique and beautiful utopian world. The pool was an amazing place to social, made a couple of friends… meanwhile, the room and the bath tub were a great me-time space. Time here felt like a mini Maldivian vacation. They have a lovely quaint co-working space too and the staff gave a 30/10 service, so helpful, warm and sweet. Sam helped us a lot and he was too hospitable. This is my genuine review and I recommend this too strongly to any one looking for worth it experience in Morjim or Goa.

Stayed at Altr Native, a social and sustainable stay in Morjim, and had a really lovely experience! The vibe is super relaxed, surrounded by lush greenery — coconut and mango trees, and beautiful, eco-conscious artwork built into the space. The common areas have a very creative and calming feel, perfect for solo travelers and digital nomads. I stayed in the dormitory, and the bunk beds were built into concrete instead of the usual wooden or metal ones — surprisingly comfy and felt private. Cleanliness and hygiene were well maintained throughout, which is always a big plus in hostel-style stays. They have a beautiful swimming pool, clean and well-kept, with a charming outdoor shower nearby. There’s a small, aesthetic café on-site, and Chef Pranav and his team whip up great food. The cafe has a cozy vibe, though the prices are a little on the higher side — expected for a boutique hostel experience. One thing I truly appreciated was their strong commitment to sustainability. Everything from the decor to the eco-friendly house slippers made of jute and plant fibers was thoughtfully curated. It’s a great option if you're looking for an eco stay in Goa. The owners, Vishwa and Jay, were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic — made sure all our needs were taken care of. Arshya, the host, also ensured our stay was smooth and comfortable. Ended up meeting some amazing people during the stay, so it's definitely ideal if you're looking for a social hostel in Goa. The property is within walking distance to Morjim’s main streets and beaches, and they offer scooter rentals for ₹500/day — a bit pricey but very convenient. Parking is available. Just note that the space isn’t very accessible for those with mobility issues. Would absolutely recommend Altr Native to backpackers, solo travelers, and anyone looking for a peaceful, social, and sustainable stay in North Goa.

Very green and peacful, tucked away in a quiet corner. Its quite luxurious unlike other hostels offering great value. It has really comfortable and spacious dorms and good crowd to boot. Really good Stay!!

The staff is extremely kind and helpful. We did have a share piece of slight hi-cup but the owner, the front desk personnel & staff of the hotel were really very kind and helpful The food is on point, and so are the signature rooms. Definitely would recommend friends and couple to stay at this place.
