one for the beautiful space and environment of the hostel, one for the location, zero for the stay! the dormitory is as filthy as it can be, smells, stinks, used wet toilet papers in and around bathroom, cheap quality beds, no curtains, and unwashed blankets, garbage lying around everywhere and at this price one can find so many places, no dustbins, and the floor looked like it hasn't been cleaned for weeks. they have seperate place for lockers and too small box, also there is no place to keep bag, everything on the dirty floor. very good space to chill and dance but not recommend for stay. good location easy walk from beach. i stayed for one day, could never use the toilet whole day because it's so dirty. also no hot water.
**"Namahstay – A Whisper to the Divine in You"** **"Namaḥ"** — *I bow.* Not just with hands pressed together, but with my soul kneeling before the sacred light that lives in you. **"Te"** — *To you.* To the part of you that is stardust and fire, the same force that spins galaxies and roots trees. **"I honor the divine in you"** — because I have wandered in noise, lost in my own echoes, not knowing which path was mine. I poured my energy into the world like rain, only to realize: The greatest joy is not in taking, but in *seeing*— seeing *you* unfold like a prayer, watching you become what you love, what makes your spirit hum. And in that giving, I found my own reflection. Thank you— to the earth that held me, to the hands that lifted me, for reminding me: I, too, am part of this creation. So I whisper again: **Namahstay.** *The wild, searching soul in me* *recognizes the wild, holy soul in you.* Special thanks to Ashu the super Host. Jaggu the master chef and the true soul Mr. Any and family. 🤍
The perfect hostel for Arambol. So many hostels are starting to focus on creature comforts but forget about the whole purpose of a hostel: to curate a vibe and facilitate connections between travellers. Namahstay does exactly that with an awesome outdoors space, scheduled socials (table tennis tournaments and movies), and hostel-wide trips to local venues like Cookie Wallah, Twice, Rehab, etc. Plus, the staff are all chill, helpful, flexible and friendly. Booked only for one night originally to scope out the place and ended up extending for 5 days. Would definitely come back. 5 ⭐️
I will truly miss this place. The time I spent there was at the very beginning of the season, and I got to see the owners and their friends working to create an amazing atmosphere—setting up comfortable places to sit, adding thoughtful decorations. Even as a tourist, seeing all this made me feel at home and gave me the chance to witness just how much effort goes into making this place special. Namahstay Hostel is definitely more than just a place to stay. I hope this place is visited by great, thoughtful, inspiring people who can appreciate everything it has to offer.
When I arrived, the receptionist told me I had to wait because the rooms were still being cleaned. I got there at 11:30 AM, and my check-in time was 11:00 AM, but my room was not ready yet. I was informed that I would get my room at 2:00 PM. However, the good thing is that the owner is friendly and the location is excellent.
