I recently stayed at Urban loft hostel and cafe during my solo trip to Rishikesh. Due to the long weekend, the traffic was really heavy towards Tapovan and hence I checked in late around 8 PM. I booked the hostel for two nights. The staff at the front desk ensured smooth check in. During my first night stay, the dorm was shared by a group of boys who were quite easy to talk to and we watched the IPL screening together. The next day I did my thing and explored Rishikesh. However the boys group checked out and a group of college students checked in and dealing with them was a nightmare. The front desk changed my dorm as they (members of college group) occupied my bed and luggage area. I moved to the dorm with 6 beds sharing for the second night stay. Earlier I was staying in a dorm with 8 beds sharing. The change in the dorm ensured peaceful sleep. The cafe in the hostel serves delicious parathas at least the one I tried was certainly tasty. The peaceful terrace especially if you end up waking up early and sitting with the view doing nothing was one of the best parts of the stay.
This place is real amazing, well spoken staff - Amit and Sunil - thank you for your support in my both visit- for the trekking part and Sai ghat visit , I spend peaceful weekend ! Even the owner and his buddy Scooby (Pet) are welcoming.. ! The only place I will ever stay in Rishikesh is UrbanLoft ♥️Thank you for the great experience, all love to you guys ! And all the chef who have made my day with great coffee 🫠 going with lot memories and friends indeed !
It was a wonderful experience with them! The view, the vibes, and everything else were on point! If you’re lucky enough, you’ll meet their cutest member “ Scooby”. Would recommend everyone to visit them! 🩷
What a gem of a place! The vibe here is fantastic – so easy to strike up conversations and make new friends. It's incredibly affordable, making it perfect for budget travelers. A little tip: Google Maps might suggest a longer route, so definitely ask the host for the shortcut from the main road. Speaking of the host, they are absolutely wonderful – so kind, soft-spoken, and always ready to help with anything you need. The on-site cafe is a great bonus, and the live music and weekend activities really elevate the experience. As a solo traveler, I highly recommend this place!
