We stayed here as a group of 5 for 1 night. The property has a good riverside location and tasty, fairly priced food. The cleanliness of the room and attached washroom could have been a little bit better. The bedsheets were not changed for us after the previous guests. Floor was dirty/muddy. Filter water was not clean and had food particles or something like that floating in it.

Excellent location , in the midst of nature, provides flowing water sound therapy. Non interfering staff. You feel you are a part of the ecosystem. Check in is hassle free online, Wifi is as it should be. There is no power cut issue. There are a few cute dogs in the property, lovely ones but they keep barking in the night and disturb sleep since they stay put on the same floor as the guests. So sleep quality is impacted ( hence a deducted ⭐ for overall) . Ordering food is online and paying through a QR CODE. The food is decent but not the best. Could have done with better preparations like how other hostels are famous. Although they deliver at your seat outside your room for inhoise guests but the presentation od food was very basic. They now have a wabi sabi cafe just as you step out of the property and it has a great view and vibe. This is my second stay. Maybe i will stay again. But keep the dogs in control at night. A good undisturbed sleep is important after a long day of hiking or trekking.

The location and view are stunning, thanks to nature, but that’s about it. The hostel itself is poorly maintained, with damp and dusty rooms. They don’t inform you at the time of booking that you can’t drive your own car to the location—you either need to hike for 25 minutes or take an expensive 4x4 cab each time you go to Kasol town. Room heaters aren’t guaranteed, so you’ll need luck to get one that works. While the dorms are budget-friendly, the private rooms are overpriced and not worth it. Even in private rooms no water, no toiletries, no towels. Food wise not much options and very average in taste.

This place has a great ambiance and the vibe here is something else. The view from the balcony is so pretty I could see is all day long. The hostel is really comforgable, the atmosphere is grrat, and the guests are super friendly. The view if the Parvati River from the hostel is absolutely beautiful-- it adds such a special touch to the experience. Sumit, the Host here at Wabi Sabi Hostel, does a fantastic job of getting everyone together!
