One of the best stays ever! This was my first trip to Bir, and honestly, I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The vibe of the hostel was just amazing peaceful, warm, and super friendly. Big shoutout to Deepak & Suraj, the best hosts ever! They guided me with everything from places to visit to hidden local spots always ready to help with a big smile. The food? Pure heaven. Freshly made ghar ka khana that instantly made me feel at home. The rooms were spotless and super comfy. It didn’t feel like a hostel it felt like home. I came here solo, but left with a small family. Can’t wait to be back. Highly recommend this place if you’re heading to Bir nothing beats this experience. 🏡✨
I stayed at Trippy Tribe Extended Hostel in Bir, Himachal Pradesh for a week, and it was honestly one of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was next level. The hosts genuinely went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and at home. It didn’t feel like just a place to crash—it felt like I was staying with old friends. Suraj bhai and Abhishek bhai are two of the most down-to-earth, helpful, and kind-hearted people I’ve met on my travels. They weren’t just managing a hostel—they were creating a space where travelers could feel safe, relaxed, and truly welcomed. Whether it was organizing a scooty or setting up paragliding, they always helped me get the best deals—without taking any commission. They’re not in it for profit, they genuinely care about the experience of each guest. The vibe at Trippy Tribe is chill, warm, and super friendly. The common areas are perfect for meeting fellow travelers, sharing stories, or just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of Bir. It’s the kind of place where strangers become friends, and leaving actually feels a bit tough. If you’re heading to Bir and want more than just a bed to sleep in—if you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with hosts who treat you like family—Trippy Tribe Extended Hostel is the place to be. Can’t recommend it enough. Don’t forget to meet their pet - Casper
I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The 360° views are breathtaking, offering a perfect backdrop for memorable sunsets. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, and the lively atmosphere added to the overall charm. The golden retriever wandering around is the cherry on top, making this place feel like a home away from home!
Generally stays are either hostel (bunk beds) or private rooms. Trippy Tribe Extended is a unique mix of both. Pros: Location with Excellent sunset view nd partial view of Dhauladhar range ( provided sky is clear). Very nice open sit out area. Workstation area is nice with a open recreation room attached. Caspers cafe serves some delectable dishes. Hosts always had 2 words to say when we asked something. "Ho jayega" They have contacts to arrange paragliding also ( we didn't use though) Wifi works well Car park: yes Cons: The approach road from the market is very narrow. Although our tempo traveller managed to get through.
This property is amazing. The rooms and toilets are clean and very contemporary in styling as well. The location is a great go ahead for ppl who want a peaceful place with natural views around. I stayed for 2 nights and i had great time throughout. The food is also good and offers multi-cuisine dishes. The seating outside in the lawn is quite amazing from where you get a view of the whole property and the hills in the backdrop with paragliders in the air. I would definitely visit it again.
