Stayed at Altr Native, a social and sustainable stay in Morjim, and had a really lovely experience! The vibe is super relaxed, surrounded by lush greenery — coconut and mango trees, and beautiful, eco-conscious artwork built into the space. The common areas have a very creative and calming feel, perfect for solo travelers and digital nomads. I stayed in the dormitory, and the bunk beds were built into concrete instead of the usual wooden or metal ones — surprisingly comfy and felt private. Cleanliness and hygiene were well maintained throughout, which is always a big plus in hostel-style stays. They have a beautiful swimming pool, clean and well-kept, with a charming outdoor shower nearby. There’s a small, aesthetic café on-site, and Chef Pranav and his team whip up great food. The cafe has a cozy vibe, though the prices are a little on the higher side — expected for a boutique hostel experience. One thing I truly appreciated was their strong commitment to sustainability. Everything from the decor to the eco-friendly house slippers made of jute and plant fibers was thoughtfully curated. It’s a great option if you're looking for an eco stay in Goa. The owners, Vishwa and Jay, were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic — made sure all our needs were taken care of. Arshya, the host, also ensured our stay was smooth and comfortable. Ended up meeting some amazing people during the stay, so it's definitely ideal if you're looking for a social hostel in Goa. The property is within walking distance to Morjim’s main streets and beaches, and they offer scooter rentals for ₹500/day — a bit pricey but very convenient. Parking is available. Just note that the space isn’t very accessible for those with mobility issues. Would absolutely recommend Altr Native to backpackers, solo travelers, and anyone looking for a peaceful, social, and sustainable stay in North Goa.

Great place to chill.. rest and amazingly clean and comfortable stay.. I stayed here for 3 days along with my 3 more buddies.. I must shout loud 👏for their best services… it’s not just like a random hostel.. it’s an absolute great experience… Thanks Jai and Arshia (owner) for navigating the best “Altrnative” hostel experience… Pros: Very spacious Clean and tidy Open Swimming pool You will be happily hosted by the Owner and Chefs The owner is so invested to provide you the best facilities. You can see a beautiful cat🐱around you as a Co-host Cons: No complaints at all. For sure this is gonna be my next best for another vacation in Goa. Highly recommended… It’s totally worth it.

I had an amazing time at ALTR NATIV! Located in the heart of Morjim, it’s perfectly situated with everything you need nearby and plenty of tourist spots to explore. The dorms are stunning, with a unique stone-age vibe that’s both serene and inviting. Everything was spotless, the pool was beautifully maintained, and the in-house cafe served delicious food. The staff were incredibly humble and always ready to help. Special thanks to Mr. Jay, the owner, for personally ensuring every guest feels welcome, and the manager for resolving any concerns promptly. This is the perfect spot for a holiday escape, especially for longer stays. Highly recommend!

This hotel/hostel should get more attention. It is located in a quiet area in morjim with restaurants and supermarket in walking distance. The property is very new and beautifully designed. The room is designed like a salt cave. The highlight is the bathroom with a jungle view and an open air shower/bathtub which is perfect for hot weathers. The owner is very welcoming and helps in any way possible. He gave us good recommendations for the area but also whole India and even offered to drive us small distances because we didn’t have a scooter. The pool and the whole garden is very clean. For breakfast you can get tasty food from the cafe for a fair price and have it in the room/ balcony. We stayed in the signature private room but there are also dorm options available. Thank you Jay. When we come to North Goa again we will definitely come again
