What a wonderful place to stay! The hostel is beautifully built, it is clean and gives friendly and comfy vibes. The people there care, are helpful, open-minded and great to be around. They have regular group activities that can be joined like drum circles and karaoke nights but also surf rentals and lessons are organized. It is directly located by the ocean. I had sea view from my hostel bed and my favorite place was the rooftop, where you can just listen to the waves and experience amazing sunrises. The food of their own restaurant is super delicious, so I enjoyed every meal I had there. Overall it was a lovely experience and I wished I booked a longer stay. Thank you guys for giving me a good time 🙏🏻

Ostel Auroville is a beautifully designed property with impressive architecture and cozy ocean-view rooms that are spacious and well-maintained. The bathrooms are clean, with 24/7 hot water available and a pool making the stay comfortable. The dorms are also neat, well-maintained, and ideal for solo travelers or those on a budget, without compromising on comfort or cleanliness. If you arrive early, there’s a comfortable AC lounge where you can relax until your room is ready. It's a great space to unwind — you can watch TV, play instruments, or enjoy board games to pass the time. The terrace offers a stunning view of the ocean — a perfect spot to sit back, relax, or enjoy a sunrise. We were warmly welcomed by Ruta, whose friendly presence also helped us connect with other guests, adding to the overall experience. The property features a kitchen that serves food upon request — the meals were decent and satisfying. Rooms were kept neat and clean throughout our stay. One downside is the limited car parking. The space can accommodate only around six cars, and maneuvering in and out can be a bit of a challenge, especially when the lot is full. A big plus is the private beach access — ideal for a peaceful sunrise or a morning yoga session. Overall, a great stay for those looking to unwind by the sea in a thoughtfully designed space

I had a wonderful stay at this property! It’s very hygienic and exceptionally well-maintained, offering a clean and comfortable environment throughout. The location is perfect—right beside the seashore—so you can enjoy stunning beach views 24/7 without any disturbance. It’s also a very safe place, ideal even for solo travelers. Plus, being close to the main road makes commuting easy and convenient. I’d highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and secure getaway.

I stayed in the dorm here over the long weekend, and it was a fantastic experience. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The property boasts stunning modern architecture, with a beautiful pool and a beach view just across the compound. It also features an in-house dining area and a cozy lounge, adding to the overall experience. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. Our group had an amazing time—we sang our hearts out during karaoke nights and danced the night away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway! P.S. This is a very high-end hostel with a lovely view of Auroville beach. It is much more expensive than the average hostel in India (2k/bed back when I visited in 2023) but it's a great experience if you're with a large group of friends. They also have private rooms available if you don't want to bunk. The place is very well maintained and they have all the amenities from board games, to yoga mats, and a swimming pool. They even had a little pup on the property who was very well fed and loved. The location is the best part about this place, it has a beautiful view of the ocean. If you aren't able to get a sea-view room, you can still enjoy it from the terrace and the swimming area.
